Zun\u00e4chst startete er dieses Projekt zur Probe, denn schlie\u00dflich ist es notwendig, neue Sparten zu erschlie\u00dfen um das Hofgut langfristig zu erhalten. Mit sehr viel M\u00fche und ohne jegliche maschinelle Unterst\u00fctzung gelang es Philipp Buhl mit der starken Unterst\u00fctzung seiner Eltern die Zwiebel regional zu vermarkten. 2017 wurde das Projekt erweitert. Aus 0,3 ha im ersten Jahr wurden es nun 2,5 ha Anbaufl\u00e4che. Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den Zwiebeln kamen K\u00fcrbisse hinzu. Bei der Menge\u00a0 an Zwiebeln und K\u00fcrbissen ist eine reine Handarbeit nicht mehr m\u00f6glich. Daher war es notwendig, eine Investition in Maschinenanlagen zu t\u00e4tigen, die die Arbeit zum einen erleichtern, zum anderen aber auch beschleunigen soll. Es kommt viel Arbeit auf den Hof zu. Daher ist Philipp nach einer Zeit von 3 Jahren\u00a0 zum Jahreswechsel 2018 voll in den elterlichen Hof eingestiegen und hat somit seine Arbeitsstelle beim Gem\u00fcsebau Gro\u00dfhans verlassen. Er war dort seit April 2015 als Qualit\u00e4tsbeauftragter eingesetzt.
